Granlibakken Lodging Information
The 2019 International WDA Conference will be an all-inclusive event at the Granlibakken Resort. As such, a daily "Resort Fee" will be charged to all registrants by Granlibakken (which will cover all meals, all events, conference center expenses, parking, Wi-Fi, etc.). A portion of your conference registration fee are going towards reducing these costs as much as possible for attendees.
There are 160 rooms at Granlibakken – all of which will be reserved for the WDA. A number of different housing options are available – student dorms, hotel-style rooms, townhouse units, studio apartments, and executive lodge units –with different price points for the full spectrum of WDA members. These costs (exclusive of a 20% tax/service charge) break down as follows:

As the conference will completely fill the Resort, we highly encourage everyone to stay on-site to have the full WDA experience! However, if some choose to stay off-site, the "Resort Fee" of $64/day will still apply (and all meals, parking, event costs, etc. will be included). This charge is mandatory, as the “Resort Fee” is required by Granlibakken for all attendees.
On your receipt for WDA conference registration, a website address and booking code will be provided to you for lodging/resort fee registration. Please use this code to book with Granlibakken.
Additional Lodging Info
An additional block of rooms has been identified at the Pepper Tree Inn, which is just down the road from the Granlibakken Resort. A free shuttle will be provided to get attendees between the Pepper Tree and the conference site. Meal and all resort amenities will still be provided to delegates staying here, but all will still be required to pay the "Resort Fee of $64/day (plus tax) mentioned above.
To reserve a room at the Pepper Tree, please call +1 (530) 583-3711, and mention that you would like a room in the reserved "Wildlife Disease Association" room block. This will afford you a 10% discount on room rates, and will ensure that the shuttle to the conference venue will come for you.
